The screen is always one step behind

A speaker reads a passage. Someone at the back finds it, types the reference, and advances the slide. The congregation reads it several seconds after they heard it, or does not read it at all.

The person doing this is usually a volunteer, often new, working under time pressure in a room where a mistake is visible to everyone present.

There is no undo in a live service. That single fact shapes every decision in this product — what it automates, what it refuses to automate, and what happens when something goes wrong.

It follows the message

LogosPilot listens to what is being said and prepares what should be shown. Four steps, each of which the operator can stop.

  1. It listens. Speech from the room is transcribed as the message is delivered.

  2. It finds the passage. A spoken Scripture reference is matched against the translation you selected.

  3. It prepares the slide. The passage text is retrieved from the licensed source and composed for the display.

  4. It displays. The passage appears on the congregation output, and on any other display you have configured.

When it is not sure, it shows nothing

If LogosPilot is not confident it identified a reference correctly, it displays nothing and hands control back to the operator. A blank screen is recoverable. Wrong Scripture in front of a congregation is not.

It keeps running when the network does not

LogosPilot is a desktop application. It runs on the machine in your booth, not in a browser and not in a data center.

A service can run start to finish with no internet at all. Scripture you have prepared is available locally, and licensing operates offline on a signed lease.

Nothing commercial ever interrupts a service. A license that lapses, a lease that expires, or a validation that fails is recorded and dealt with afterwards — never in the middle of an event, and never on a screen a congregation can see.

What LogosPilot does not do

Two things worth knowing before you spend any more time here. Both are deliberate.

LogosPilot displays Scripture. It never writes it.

Passage text is retrieved from the licensed translation you selected and displayed exactly as published. LogosPilot does not generate, paraphrase or reconstruct Scripture text under any circumstance. When it is not confident it identified a reference correctly, it displays nothing and hands control to the operator.

LogosPilot drives your production software. It does not replace it.

LogosPilot sends what the congregation sees to OBS Studio and vMix, certified against exact versions. The encoding, switching and streaming stay where they belong — in the production software your team already runs.
