This page is the authoritative list. Everything LogosPilot does, what it is certified against, the workflows it supports, and the ten things it deliberately does not do.

Shipped capability

Present in the product today. Each entry states what it does and what limits it carries.

Scripture detection from live speech

Room audio is transcribed as the message is delivered, and a spoken Scripture reference is matched against the translation you selected. When the match is not confident, nothing is displayed and control returns to the operator.

Scripture retrieval and display

Passage text is retrieved from the licensed provider you configured, or from local text when the network is unavailable. The translation in use is identified on screen. Text is displayed exactly as published — it is never generated, paraphrased or reconstructed.

Slide preparation

A candidate slide is composed for the display it is going to, and delivered to that output. Existing presentation files can be rendered and driven alongside Scripture content.

Multi-display output

Displays are addressed by role — congregation, stage, confidence, lobby, nursery, overflow — and each carries independent content. The number of simultaneous outputs is limited by the graphics hardware in the desktop host, not by LogosPilot.

Audio recording

LogosPilot records audio. A session is captured with markers and a timeline, then finalized with a checksum so the file can be verified later. Recording is something you start; it does not begin on its own.

Tablet companions

A tablet paired to a desktop host extends the operator's reach into the room. The companion is assistive — the desktop host remains the authoritative surface for the event.

Multi-campus

Each campus operates independently. A synchronization problem between campuses does not prevent any campus from running its own service.

Offline operation

A complete service can run with no internet. Prepared Scripture is available locally and licensing operates on a signed offline lease. Network-dependent capabilities degrade individually and visibly rather than stopping the service.

Supervised runtime

A watchdog monitors the running system and restarts components rather than leaving a service without output. If it cannot recover automatically, it surfaces a manual action instead of retrying silently.

Certified integration

Certified is a reserved word here. It means we tested that vendor, at that version, end to end. It is not a synonym for compatible or supported.

Supported workflows

Capabilities combine in a small number of ways. These are the ones the product is built around.

What LogosPilot does not do

Ten boundaries. Each one is a decision about where this product stops, not a gap waiting to be filled. Knowing them is more useful than discovering them.

LogosPilot displays Scripture. It never writes it.

Passage text is retrieved from the licensed translation you selected and displayed exactly as published. LogosPilot does not generate, paraphrase or reconstruct Scripture text under any circumstance. When it is not confident it identified a reference correctly, it displays nothing and hands control to the operator.

LogosPilot presents the text. The teaching belongs to the person speaking.

It does not interpret, summarize or comment on Scripture. It identifies what was referenced and puts the published text on the screen.

LogosPilot drives your production software. It does not replace it.

LogosPilot sends what the congregation sees to OBS Studio and vMix, certified against exact versions. The encoding, switching and streaming stay where they belong — in the production software your team already runs.

LogosPilot records your service. Editing happens in your editor.

LogosPilot is built around the spoken message.

It does not maintain a song library, manage lyrics, or handle CCLI reporting. Those belong to your worship software, and LogosPilot works alongside it rather than duplicating it.

LogosPilot runs the room, not the office.

It does not plan services, schedule volunteers, track attendance or handle giving. Your church management system does that. LogosPilot starts when the service does.

LogosPilot handles the room, not the registrar.

It captures, transcribes and displays what is taught. It does not manage enrollment, rosters, grades, assessment or certification — those stay in your institution's academic systems.

LogosPilot is a Windows application.

It runs on the machine in your booth, not in a browser, and it keeps running when the network does not.

LogosPilot controls what is displayed, not what is filmed.

Camera movement and switching remain with your production team and their equipment.
