For the person who owns the output

LogosPilot for media directors

Where LogosPilot sits in a signal chain you already run, what it drives, what it never touches, and what happens when something fails mid-service.

Where it sits

LogosPilot is a source, not a switcher. It runs on one desktop host in the room, composes Scripture content for the outputs you assign, and drives your production software. It does not replace anything in your chain.

Position in an existing chain
Layer	Who owns it
Scripture content and display composition	LogosPilot
Switching, mixing, encoding, streaming	Your production software. LogosPilot is not an encoder and does not host video
Songs, lyrics, CCLI reporting	Your worship software
Service planning and scheduling	Your church management system

Display surfaces

LogosPilot drives multiple displays at once, each with independent content. A candidate slide is composed for the display it is going to, not scaled from one master output.

Independent outputs
Surface	Carries
Congregation display	The passage, composed for that screen
Stage display	Content for the person speaking
Confidence monitor	What is current and what is next
Lobby and overflow	Independent content per output
Broadcast-facing output	Program content sent to your production software

The number of simultaneous outputs is limited by the graphics hardware in the desktop host, not by LogosPilot. Existing presentation files can be rendered and driven alongside Scripture content. Hardware guidance is on System requirements.

What you keep control of

Automation is a convenience, not an authority. At every step of the Scripture chain, a person can override it.

Operator control
Control	Effect
Stop automation	Halts immediately and does not resume until someone starts it again
Take manual control	Search and select a passage yourself. A manual selection supersedes whatever automation was considering
Clear output	Clears what is on the display
Tablet companion	Operate from inside the room rather than the booth. The desktop host stays authoritative

Low confidence produces nothing

If LogosPilot is not confident it identified a reference correctly, it stops before preparing a slide. No display changes. A blank screen is recoverable. Wrong Scripture in front of a congregation is not.

Broadcast and recording

Certified integrations and transports
Vendor	Version certified	Transport
OBS Studio	32.1.2, obs-websocket 5.7.3	WebSocket 4455
vMix	29.0.0.48	TCP 8099

These are the exact versions certification was run against, end to end. What that certification covered — and what it did not — is published on Integrations. Connection health is reported and reconnection is attempted.

Audio recording runs locally. The finished file and its checksum are written on the desktop host.

When something fails

Failure behavior
Failure	What happens
Audio source is lost	Detection suspends. Manual control continues unaffected
Internet connection drops	The service continues under manual control. Speech recognition suspends and resumes when the connection returns
Production software disconnects	Health is reported and reconnection is attempted
A component stops responding	A watchdog restarts it rather than leaving the service without output
A license condition becomes true mid-service	Recorded and applied afterwards. Never shown where a congregation can see it

What it never touches
