How LogosPilot licensing works

Device-based licensing, described exactly as it works today. Each topic below is independent, so you can read only the one you need.

The model

A license permits LogosPilot to run on a number of desktop hosts. Activating binds the license to a specific machine and counts against that allowance.

Your current position is always shown in the product — for example, 1 of 3 devices in use. You should not have to ask us how many you have left.

Activating

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Select License.

  3. Enter your license key.

  4. Select Activate license.

What you should see

The License page shows the license as active, the expiry date, and the devices in use — for example, 1 of 3.

Replacing a device

If a machine is being retired and still works, deactivate it first, then activate the replacement. The allowance is freed immediately.

If the machine has failed and you cannot deactivate it, contact licensing@logospilot.com. If a service is at risk, say so in the first line — we handle that differently from a routine request.

Transfer and renewal

A license can be moved between machines by deactivating one and activating another. There is no limit on how often.

Renewal extends the license without a reinstall and without reconfiguring anything. Your content and settings are untouched, and a renewal applied while an event is running does not interrupt it.

Offline operation

LogosPilot operates offline on a signed lease. A complete event can run with no internet at all, and licensing does not need to reach us during it.

Nothing commercial interrupts an event

A license or lease condition that becomes true during an event is recorded and applied afterwards. It never stops an event in progress and never appears on a display a congregation can see.

If a license lapses

If a license expires, your content is not locked. Existing sermons and recordings remain available to view and export, and the License page and settings stay reachable.

What is blocked is starting new production — a new recording, a new service, a new rehearsal. Renewing restores everything immediately.

Multi-campus

Each campus operates independently. A synchronization problem between campuses does not prevent any campus from running its own service.
