The same workflow, other kinds of occasion
A weekly service is one kind of live spoken event. LogosPilot does the same thing at a conference, a seminar or a memorial — because the work is the same work.
What a live event needs
Someone speaks. Something should appear on a screen at the right moment. A record of it should exist afterwards. Somebody is responsible, in front of people, with no opportunity to retry.
That description does not mention churches, and it is the whole of what LogosPilot addresses. Everything below is the same product doing the same job in a different room.
Four kinds of occasion
What changes between them is emphasis, not capability. Nothing here is a separate edition and nothing is unlocked by choosing one.
Services
Weekly, recurring, volunteer-operated. Scripture detection carries most of the load, multi-display separates the congregation view from the stage view, and recording captures the message.
Conferences and sessions
Multiple speakers across a day or several days. Each session is prepared and run the same way. Scripture may be central or barely used, depending on the speaker — the workflow does not change either way.
Seminars and teaching
Longer-form spoken content where transcription and recording matter more than fast slide changes. The same display roles apply, and the recording is finalized with a checksum so it can be verified later.
Memorial services
Occasions where a mistake carries more weight than usual, and where the operator is often someone who does not normally do this. Predictable behavior and an override that is always in the same place matter more here than anywhere else.
