What LogosPilot is built to run on, what gives the best experience, and — kept separate from both — the one machine we have physically tested.

Supported is a target. Certified is evidence.

These supported requirements represent the current software target. Certified environments identify hardware that has been physically validated by LogosPilot. Additional certified configurations will be published as testing expands.

LogosPilot is a desktop application. It runs on the machine in your booth and keeps running when the network does not.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are both supported targets. Only the Windows 11 configuration in Certified environment has been physically validated.

These are requirements, not an availability claim

macOS is a planned platform and is not yet certified. No macOS installer is published, and nothing on this page says otherwise. The figures above are the software target so that a church can plan hardware; they are not a statement that the software can be obtained today.

Intel Macs are not listed. Support for them has not been confirmed by engineering, and an unconfirmed row on this page would be read as a commitment.

A network is needed to activate, not to operate. Once activated, LogosPilot runs a service with the network down — see Network.

Certified environment

A certified environment is one LogosPilot has physically run on, end to end, with a published result. It is independent of the supported and recommended requirements above: it is not a minimum, not a ceiling, and not a threshold you have to meet. It is evidence, and we publish it exactly, because a specification you cannot check is not evidence.

One certified machine is not a minimum

This machine is well above the supported requirements, and that is expected. It is the configuration certification happened to run on, not the smallest one that works. Read the supported column above for what to buy against, and read this section for what has been proven. Additional certified configurations will be published as testing expands.

Displays

LogosPilot drives multiple displays at once — a congregation display, a stage display, and a broadcast output — each with independent content.

The number of simultaneous outputs is limited by the graphics hardware in the desktop host, not by LogosPilot.

Certification note

The certified configuration above had one display attached. Multi-display behavior is a shipped capability; it was not part of that particular certification run.

Network

LogosPilot does not need a network to run a service. Scripture you have prepared is available locally, and licensing operates offline on a signed lease. A network is required for Scripture lookup of passages you have not cached, for license activation and renewal, and for broadcast integration.

If you use vMix, read this before you deploy

vMix exposes two control surfaces that are unauthenticated — a TCP interface on port 8099 and a web controller on port 8088. Anything that can reach the host can drive the switcher. This is how vMix works; it is not something LogosPilot introduces or can change.

Keep the host off untrusted networks, and do not port-forward 8099 or 8088. We found this during certification and we would rather you knew.

Broadcast integrations

LogosPilot is certified against exact versions. Certification means we tested that vendor at that version, end to end.

What this page does not cover

LogosPilot is a desktop application.

It runs on the machine in your booth rather than on someone else’s server, and it keeps running when the network does not.

LogosPilot controls what is displayed, not what is filmed.

Camera movement and switching remain with your production team and their equipment. Requirements for that equipment are not ours to state.

Certification covered two vendors at two versions.

Other production software may work. We have not tested it, so we do not claim it.
