Install LogosPilot

Four steps. Each one tells you what you should see, so you know it worked before you move on.

Before you begin

Three things, all of which take under a minute. Doing them now avoids the two most common installation problems.

  • Confirm the machine is supported. LogosPilot runs on Windows 64-bit. See system requirements
  • Verify the installer. Confirm the checksum and the digital signature before you run it. See how to verify
  • Install on the machine that will run the service. LogosPilot activates against the host it is installed on, so install it on the booth machine rather than a laptop you will not use on the day.

You do not need an account

There is nothing to sign up for and no license key to enter. The 30-day trial begins on first launch.

Install

  1. Run the installer you downloaded.

    Windows will show the publisher name from the digital signature. It should read LogosPilot LLC.

  2. Choose the install location, or accept the default.

  3. Select Install and wait for it to finish.

  4. Select Finish.

What you should see

LogosPilot appears in the Start menu, and the installer closes without reporting an error.

First launch

  1. Open LogosPilot from the Start menu.

  2. Confirm your displays are detected.

    Connect every display you intend to use before opening LogosPilot, so it sees them on first run.

  3. Select a Scripture translation to use.

What you should see

LogosPilot opens to its main view, your displays are listed, and the trial is shown as active with the days remaining.

Your trial starts automatically

The trial runs for 30 days from first launch and includes the full product. There is no reduced edition, no feature gate, and nothing appears on the congregation display to identify it as a trial.

You do not need to do anything to start it, and there is nothing to cancel if you decide not to continue.
