LogosPilot for ministries and missions

Small teams, borrowed rooms, and connectivity you cannot rely on. LogosPilot runs a complete event with no internet at all.

The environment

The venue changes. The equipment is whatever fits in the vehicle. The person operating is doing three other jobs that day.

Connectivity is the variable that breaks most software — not because it is always absent, but because it is unreliable in a way that is hard to plan around.

Offline is not a degraded mode here. It is the design. Prepared Scripture is available locally, licensing operates on a signed offline lease, and startup never waits on a network call.

A license that cannot reach our servers does not stop your event. It reconciles afterwards, when you are somewhere with a connection.

Applicable capabilities

These are the same capabilities every LogosPilot install has. Nothing below is specific to this environment — only the emphasis is. The capability list is defined here.

  • Offline operation. Prepared Scripture is available locally and licensing runs on a signed offline lease.
  • Supervised runtime. A watchdog restarts components rather than leaving an event without output. If it cannot recover, it surfaces a manual action instead of retrying silently.
  • Tablet companions. A paired tablet lets one person operate from within the room rather than from behind it.
  • Audio recording. A session is captured with markers and finalized with a checksum, so a file taken away on a drive can still be verified.

What LogosPilot does not do

Ministry organizations run donor, volunteer and field systems. LogosPilot has no view of any of them.

LogosPilot runs the room, not the office.

It does not manage donors, run fundraising, track volunteers, or hold a field or partner database. It does not plan services or handle giving. LogosPilot starts when the event does.

LogosPilot is built around the spoken message.

It does not maintain a song library, manage lyrics, or handle CCLI reporting. Those belong to your worship software.

LogosPilot displays Scripture. It never writes it.

Passage text is retrieved from the licensed translation you selected and displayed exactly as published. It is never generated, paraphrased or reconstructed — including when the network is unavailable and local text is used.

LogosPilot is a Windows application.

It runs on a machine you bring, not in a browser, and it keeps running when the network does not.
