This is a short document, because LogosPilot collects very little. What follows describes how the website and product are actually built.

Why this is short

Most privacy policies are long because the product collects a great deal. This one is short for the opposite reason.

What we collect

Two things, both of which you initiate.

  • What you send us. If you email us or use a contact route, we hold your message and your address so we can answer it.
  • Aggregate website measurements. How often pages are reached and whether downloads complete, without an identifier that distinguishes you from anyone else.

Journeys, not people

We measure whether the site works — whether people find the download, whether documentation searches succeed. We do not build a profile of you, and there is no identifier that would let us.

What we do not collect

  • Names or contact details, unless you send them to us
  • Any identifier that follows you across websites
  • Anything from inside the software you did not choose to send
  • Your sermons, recordings, Scripture selections or presentation content
  • Congregation or attendee information of any kind
  • Payment details on this website

Your content stays on your machine

LogosPilot is a desktop application. Sermons, recordings and presentation content are written to the machine you run it on. We do not receive them, and a complete service can run with no internet connection at all.

Why there is no cookie banner

A consent banner is required when a site sets cookies that require consent. If this site does not set any, a banner would imply data collection that does not happen — so we do not add one preemptively. If that ever changes, this section changes with it and consent is obtained properly.
